Luxury waterfront accommodation on Blackpool Beach at Huruhi Bay, on beautiful Waiheke Island - Auckland's paradise in the Hauraki Gulf. What makes this beach lodge unique is its quiet setting on the bay yet close proximity to all Waiheke Island holiday amenities. Breakfast on the Beach Lodge can be booked exclusively for special occasions, corporate or private functions; be it a management workshop, golfing group, book club, wedding party, family celebration or black tie dinner - whatever the occasion Breakfast on the Beach is an ideal venue. Special packages can be arranged to suit your requirements. Guests can catch the ferry for a day's shopping and sightseeing in Auckland city, then escape back to their Waiheke Island hideaway for a romantic and relaxing evening beside the sea. Four luxury guest rooms with large en-suites, open lounge and atrium area that look out over wide sea views. All rooms are only 30 metres from the beachfront. Three rooms have king beds (including a bridal suite) and one room has two queen beds - all are superior quality. Rooms are serviced daily. Turn down service includes port, cheese and chocolates to enjoy while relaxing in the evening and watching the twinkling lights across the sea. There is a free access internet station in the library and all guest rooms are wired to enable easy access with your own laptop, or wireless broadband is available for those who want to surf from the comfort of their hammock. The lodge has wheelchair access, and one guest room has a wheelchair accessible bathroom.
Transportation:
35 minute ferry ride from Downtown Auckland City. Guests will be picked up from ferry and brought to the Lodge. Alternatively guests can hire a car at Auckland Airport and arrive on the car ferry from Half Moon Bay. Directions from Kennedy Point on Waiheke Island where the ferry docks will be sent via email to guests on confirmation of booking.
